This state has India’s largest industrial workforce. Manufacturing is more than 40% of its economy. And almost no school teaches a child what an industry is, how one runs, or that “maintenance planner” is a job that exists and pays well.

MADE HERE is our answer. Six modules, taught by people who have actually run plants, in schools around the factories that will one day hire these students.

That last number is the point. The policy exists. The requirement is real. Almost no school has anyone to run it with.

What is taught

Eight modules, taught at three levels.

Not a careers talk and not a robotics kit. Each module is one of our practices, translated for a fourteen-year-old, and each one ends with fifteen minutes of a real practitioner: what they do, what they studied, what they earn, and what they wish they had known at fifteen. The capstone

Run your classroom like a plant.

Every idea a manufacturing engineer cares about has an exact analogue in a school day. So the students measure their own. They specify the system, install it, build the dashboard, collect a term of data, compute their own class’s effectiveness, find their own losses, propose a countermeasure, run it — and measure whether it held.

It teaches sensing, data, statistics and root cause the way a plant learns them: by measuring something you care about and being annoyed by the answer.

The programme is designed so that teachers deliver it, not us. We author the curriculum, train the staff, supply the kit and audit the outcome — which is the only way one small bench of practitioners reaches a hundred schools.

Where a plant visit is not possible — age limits, distance, consent — a filmed 360° plant tour stands in, so no cohort is excluded from the part that matters most.
